A guided nature and wildlife tour through Manuel Antonio National Park, which is located 45 minutes North of Casitas Del Rio Riverfront Nature Lodge.
The smallest national park, but the most visited. We strongly suggest you visit this national park with a guide to get the best experience. The guides trained eyes will show you tons of things you would not have seen or understood on your own. Our certified guides are trained in plant and animal knowledge and bring seemingly uninteresting things to life with profound knowledge.

Steps to Book:
For this tour, you will drive to Manuel Antonio National Park. It is a 45- minute drive and an easy scenic drive. Park close to the entrance and NOT at the public beach. The parking lot closest to the entrance is only 3000 CRC (5 USD) for a whole day.
We suggest avoiding the public beach area in Manuel Antonio as we find it crowded and full of beach vendors constantly trying to sell you things. Inside the National Park these vendors are not allowed so you can enjoy nature and tranquility.
We do suggest planning to go swimming after the guided tour inside the park. There are two lovely beaches inside the park where the tour can end and you just walk out when you are ready.
The town has one main road and we suggest lunch at El Avion, a restaurant with a decommissioned plane inside the restaurant and amazing vistas of the coast.
The other main event in Manuel Antonio that we suggest is visiting Mountaintop Park. One of the highest points around with a suspension bridge and lovely restaurant for lunch.
We chose to live in Uvita for its unparalleled nature, beauty, massive uncrowded beaches, and many waterfalls. We suggest you spend more time enjoying the Uvita beaches which you will find are much more enjoyable, but for a longer stay a one day trip to Manuel Antonio is worth the time!
