Our horseback riding tour goes through the protected wildlife corridor and private nature reserve bordering our property!   Pristine primary forest with ancient trees, monkeys, exotic birds, and animals.   Arrive at an amazing swimming hole and hidden waterfall upriver of our Casitas Del Rio Riverfront Nature Lodge.    There you can swim in the turquoise waters and enjoy nature’s harmonic sounds.

The entrance is located 5 minutes from Casitas Del Rio Riverfront Nature Lodge.

Horseback Riding Tour to the waterfall and through the massive wildlife refuge surrounding Castias Del Rio. Inexperienced riders welcome!

Times: 9:00 or 2:00 Specify your date, time, skill level, and weight during the checkout.

Inexperienced riders welcome! The horses are carefully trained for you to have a pleasant experience.

Price Includes: The required local taxes, the guide, and all equipment needed.

Tour Time: 2-3hrs and typically departs at 9:00am

Several points of interest can be found here, a beautiful waterfall with a swimming hole you can enjoy, an environmentally sustainable livestock operation, jungle and nature, many birds, and of course the pleasure of riding a horse. Groups are kept individualized as they book the tour, to have an enjoyable experience.

The ride begins through a sustainable working cattle farm, then through the rainforest jungle where you can watch birds, congo howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, and even sometimes

a sloth, and other animals.

The stay at the waterfall is 1hour. Enjoy the beauty of the place and cool off in the pools of river. It is important to plan to get wet and enjoy the river.
