(Sold by number of Per Person including the local taxes)  Note:  This does not include the price to enter the wildlife refuge, which is $15 per person and payable separately directly to the wildlife refuge, we will send you this info after booking.

Time:  Typically 8:00, but can be arranged to start anytime between 6:00-11:00.  6:00 is best for bird watching!
Duration:  3hrs
Price:  $50 per person(2 person minimum).
Includes:   Bi-Lingual Naturalist Spanish and English, rubber boots, coconut drink, and local taxes.
Does not include the entrance fee to the wildlife refuge, you pay this $15pp directly to the wildlife refuge.

Come and experience how insects, birds, mammals, and reptiles behave in their natural habitats; and observe the great variety of tropical plants. With the trained eyes of the guide, this is an excellent occasion to admire wildlife.

Explore Costa Rica’s South Pacific lowland tropical rainforest and discover the animals and plants that call it home.  You will learn about the natural history of the area, the special adaptations of the plants and animals we see, and how they serve a role in the larger ecosystem. The goal is not just to provide a fun and interesting adventure, but also to educate about the environments we live in. Although we can’t promise to see any specific animal, some of the common sightings include Two- and Three-toed Sloths, White-faced Capuchin Monkeys, Coatis, Collard Peccaries, and the Great Curassow. It is wildlife though, so we never know what is going to present itself to us on any given day.

Our guides or certified naturalists and are amazing people.  We make great efforts to find the best guides and best boats for you!   Our guides are passionate, knowledgeable, and authentic.   This makes the difference!  They will provide the trained eye needed to spot things easily overlooked. They will also provide profound knowledge to bring this to life in whole new ways.   This guide has a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources from Virginia Tech, and loves to share his knowledge and passion for wildlife with others.
