We suggest this activity in combination with a visit to the Whale’s Tail Beach. The tour is fascinating and fun. You will learn so much from the local guide whose energy and enthusiasm for coconuts is contagious.

Learn by doing with a passionate local expert. You will be participating in the process of opening a coconut, harvesting the water, making coconut milk, making coconut oil, and much more! Everything is used from its peel, juice, fiber, and more.

Length of Experience: 2.5 hours

In this interactive tour, you will learn everything about the coconut and its benefits, in the most traditional way.

From opening the coconut, squeezing the pulp to make milk, to preparing coconut oil. You will also make a lip balm with all-natural ingredients.

It is attractive for its water, milk, and flavors. But the coconut also has very beneficial properties for health, including skin, hair, immune booster, and even as brain food and to protect memory! You will be surprised at all you will learn.
